How it works

Make a QR code or barcode in three steps

Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Every format, download size and label sheet is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The site is meant to be supported by ads, and by affiliate links.

Do the QR codes expire?

No. They are static codes: your link or text is stored in the code itself, not behind a redirect service, so nothing on our side can make them stop working. To change what a code says, make a new one.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Codes are made in your browser, so Wi-Fi passwords, contact details and product numbers never leave your device.

Can I use these barcodes on products in stores?

Yes, if the number is yours. Retailers and marketplaces such as Amazon expect product numbers licensed from GS1. We draw the barcode and calculate its check digit; the number itself has to come from GS1 or your retailer. Step by step: how to get a barcode for your product. Selling on Amazon: do I need a barcode to sell on Amazon?
