Privacy Note
The payload fields used to generate a code are processed in your browser rather than submitted to our web server. We cannot retrieve or modify generated files; see the Privacy Policy for site measurement, advertising and local-storage details.
Frequently Asked Support Questions
Can you restore a QR code or barcode I generated earlier?
No. Generated files are not uploaded to UniversalCodeMaker for storage. Your downloads remain with you, and the Studio can keep up to 6 recent barcodes and website-link QR codes in your own browser's local storage.
Can I request support for a custom barcode symbology or 2D standard?
Yes! We actively expand our catalog based on user demand. Select "New Barcode Symbology Request" above with the standard name (e.g., EAN-8, Codabar, GS1-128) and specifications.
Are generated codes really free for commercial packaging?
The site currently charges no subscription or export fee. You are responsible for the content you encode and for confirming identifier, trademark, platform, and packaging requirements. See our Terms of Service for details.
